It started with a simple premise: two buddies talking horror, as they would in a bar. Simple, spontaneous, sometimes spooky and often silly.
It’s the 100th episode of Monster Men! Help us celebrate five years of hanging out and talking horror. It’s been filled with great conversation and a ton of laughs, covering everything and anything including horror movies, ghost stories, toys, paranormal investigations, bobble-heads, author interviews, demons, UFOs, super heroes, book reviews, comic book recommendations, serial killers, conventions, Bigfoot, aliens, candy corn, Halloween celebrations, cryptids, urban legends, horrific wine and pumpkin ale.
It’s been a long strange trip and we are only getting started.
On this show we reflect on the journey so far and thank many of the people who have supported us and helped make Monster Men something special. We also discuss some of our favorite horror movies and finish up with the story about how Spider-man brought the Monster Men together.
Thanks for a wonderful 100 shows. Here’s to what’s next!

Then Hunter takes the wheel to discuss the works of Carlton Mellick III, one of the greats in a genre called Bizarro Fiction. His works include such titles as Apeshit and Clusterfuck.
Monster Men Episode 98: On this episode of Monster Men we celebrate the latest novel by horror author and Monster Men co-host, Hunter Shea. On this episode of Monster Men, we welcome Matt Manochio, the author of two horror novels featuring everyone’s favorite Christmas demon, Krampus. The Dark Servant and Twelfth Krampus Night are two must read books that are a great gift for both the naughty and nice boys and girls on your list. Matt also has a great horror/western called The Sentinel, in case you prefer a warmer climate.
After we discuss the legend of Krampus and Matt’s books, we naturally delve into the horror movies and books that fuel Matt’s fire.
It’s a very interesting and entertaining show. Don’t miss it!

On this episode of Monster Men we review three horror movies and a horror podcast. Two of the movies are now available on Netflix, CREEP and THE LAST DAYS ON MARS. Both are worth a look. You have to see CREEP to believe it. It’s odd, weird and entertaining… in a creepy way. We also review the social media-centric “found footage” movie, UNFRIENDED.
We also give a shout out to Bloody Good Horror, one of our favorite horror podcasts.
Let’s get caught up with the latest episodes of Monster Men. We finally made it back into Studio 13 for a few shows.
