Halloween Extravaganza: Booze, Food and Horror Movies

Bon Appetit, boys and ghouls! In keeping with our tradition of celebrating Halloween with a Pumpkin Ale episode, we present our Halloween Extravaganza. This year we are pair an odd assortment of October themed alcoholic drinks with an equally quirky array of Fall flavored foods. All while we pair an lesser known horror movie with an old favorite.

Some things on the menu include pumpkin whisky & soda, toasted marshmallow seltzer, pumpkin pasta, Halloween Peeps and Monster Mash cereal.

You may call it Octoberfest, but around here we call it Horrortoberfest.

Monster Men Ep: 145 – A Halloween Tasting Show

Bottoms up, Monster Friends! It’s that time of year again. Time for the Monster Men to sample a variety of horror themed foods and beverages including Walking Dead and Octopoda wine, Crystal Head vodka, Zombie Skittles and Bigfoot Ale. All served with a side of Boo Berry, of course.

These never end well.

Since it’s Halloween, many of these will be treats and other will be horrors. (Hint: More horrors.) Join us we indulge in a banquet of the macabre.

The Monster Men Thanksgiving Special: Cornucopia of Horror – Ep. 136

Happy Thanksgiving! On this episode of Monster Men, Hunter surprises Jack with a Thanksgiving meal like you’ve never seen before. In the spirit of our wine and pumpkin ale tasting episodes, we decided this year to shift our focus to food. (If you can call it that.)

This scary meal consists of things like canned, green boiled peanuts, canned chicken Vienna sausages, turkey baby food, and avocado & pea baby food, pickled turnips,  toddler meatloaf & potatoes and some Spam and donuts for dessert. It’s disgusting… and pretty amusing to watch these two knuckleheads put this in their mouths.

So, pull up a chair and join us for the most terrifying Thanksgiving meal ever.
