On this episode of Monster Men we review three new horror movies for 2016. First we explore THE FOREST, which takes us on a supernatural trip into the infamous Suicide Forest of Japan. Luckily we have the lovely Natalie Dormer to guide us. Then we turn our attention to some serious literature. Well, as serous as we can get on Monster Men. Next up we have PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, as the classic novel gets infected with the Z virus, We’ll let you know if it’s worth catching or not. Finally, we discuss THE BOY, starring the stunning Lauren Cohan and one creepy little doll.

We close the show with segment about the new book by Adam Cesare, Zero Lives Remaining. Not only is this a great book, but it has THE COOLEST packaging you’ll ever see for a horror novel.

Krampus is Dreaming of a Red Christmas

On this episode of Monster Men, we welcome Matt Manochio, the author of two horror novels featuring everyone’s favorite Christmas demon, Krampus. The Dark Servant and Twelfth Krampus Night are two must read books that are a great gift for both the naughty and nice boys and girls on your list. Matt also has a great horror/western called The Sentinel, in case you prefer a warmer climate.

After we discuss the legend of Krampus and Matt’s books, we naturally delve into the horror movies and books that fuel Matt’s fire.

Creep, Unfriended and More

On this episode of Monster Men we review three horror movies and a horror podcast. Two of the movies are now available on Netflix, CREEP and THE LAST DAYS ON MARS. Both are worth a look. You have to see CREEP to believe it. It’s odd, weird and entertaining… in a creepy way. We also review the social media-centric “found footage” movie, UNFRIENDED.
